Just a walk {open}

Heero walked down the streets of Silverust with his tail out which he had started to grow accustomed to doing in town. Unlike in the rest of the world, Silverust didn’t seem to shun him for his devil lineage and he could walk around like normal here. It was one of the many things he had grown to like about this town. Nobody really judged anyone else because all of them were scum bags to begin with and many had committed or had attempted to commit terrible atrocities and should have been executed years ago but they were still alive today.

Heero wasn’t really doing anything today. Victor was out drinking like usual and Heero didn’t really care about anything going on. Heero was just off for a walk to just chill out and relax. He had also stolen some of the guilds money for food because Heero didn’t have any so he was all set to do nothing for the day.

Sanako had finally arrived at the town she had wanted to go for some time now. There was a guild here named Luna Soul. That was the guild she wanted to join. Now where to go...? she looked around while walking trough the town. This town looked nice and the people very friendly. Asking people the way to the guild they send her in the right direction. 

As she was making her way to that guild a guy passed by making Sanako stop and turn around. It was not just that this boy got her attention it was the odd tail sticking out his clothes. She had never seen someone with a real tail so it had count her intrest. Watching him walk she started to following him around. For some time she had just walked behind him but then reached out for the tail taking it in her hand and stopped walking making her pull on it. She frowned looking from the tail at the boy and back.

While Heero was walking he felt a tug. Not a normal tug like on his shirt or his arm, no, this tug was much more painful. Someone had pulled on his tail and Heero let out a shout as he entered his devil form as if it was a programmed defense mechanism as he turned around with a menacing look on his face to see who was pulling on his tail. Heero didn’t care who it was, pulling on his tail was a big no no. “WHO THE HELL TOUCHED MY TAIL,” Heero shouted giving his assaulter a clear view of his devil form.

Heero’s pupils had turned red and his pointy ears grew out longer. All the while his bared teeth had grown razor sharp and his nails and grown into claws which were also bared at his adversary. As per the obvious he was also coated with a pale blue flame which seemed to concentrate at the tip of his lashing tail and in two areas on his forehead that looked like horns. Everyone nearby took a look to see exactly what was going on while keeping a safe distance as to not get burned.

As soon as Sanako had pulled on the tail something seemed to happen. She let go of it looking at the guy with her eyes wide. He screamed ut loud who dared to touch his tail. Hmm.. obviously he didn't like that... she thought as hes expresion turned back to normal. She frowned again taking a step backwards watching the boy's appearance change. 

"What... are you...?" she asked in a dry tone and let out a soft giggle as she found it kind of funny he got this mad for pulling on his tail. Sanako smiled "calm down already... i didn't mean to make you angry" she said scratching the back of her head. "You got a really nice... tail" she said ticking out her tongue and winked.

“IF YOU DON’T INTEND TO MAKE ME ANGRY DON’T PULL MY TAIL THAT HURTS!?” Heero retorted. Her remark about him having a nice tail didn’t help much since she also stuck her tongue out so Heero took it as sarcastic and only gritted his sharpened teeth more. This little bitch was just itching for a fight and Heero was happy to oblige. Even some of the less intelligent and more delinquent punks of Silverust were shouting ‘Fight! Fight! Fight!’ repeatedly.

Heero didn’t feel like playing into this chick’s taunts though and giving her a simmer down as he reverted back to his human form and the flames simmered down. “Tsk,” Heero spat on the ground as he turned to walk away. I don’t have time for this bitch, Heero thought as he put his hands in his pockets and started to skulk away with an unhappy and still very irritated look on his face.

As she walked into Silverust City, having wanted to wander in for some time but hadn't done so because of issues with her guild, she sighed when she heard shouting she walked towards the shouting, two katanas at her right hand. She stopped and looked at the boy and the girl. Her hair short and silvery white, her eyes silvery blue, her khaki green skirt swayed in the wind. She walked towards them, "Is there a problem?" Her voice sharp and soft at the same time.

Sanako looked at the boy with puppy eyes feeling sorry for hurting him. She heard people shout about wanting them to fight. As she looked over to those people het innocence expresion changed to an deathly glare. Looking back she saw the tail guy walking off. "Hey wait! can you there me where i can find Luna soul!?" she said stopping him from walking with pulling on the back of shirt. She did know it was near but where exactly was a mystery.

A girl came walking up to them asking if something was wrong. Sanako looker at her seeing she weapons with her. "n..no nothings wrong here" she said and smiled letting go of the guys shirt. Sanako was not looking for a fight. She was just being herself annoying people with her stupid actions.

“Hm?” Heero looked back around after getting his shirt pulled. “What would you want with us now?” Heero asked with a little less rudeness but it was still sounded pretty defensive. Most people didn’t come wanting to join Luna Soul it was a guild for people with nowhere else to go so Heero wasn’t expecting this girl to join.

This wasn’t going to be the end of his afternoon women problems today as another woman with silver hair appeared asking if there was a problem. “It’s Silverust, there’s always a problem,” Heero retorted with a little joke about how shitty this neighborhood seemed to the rest of the world. Heero didn’t want to waste any time as he pulled his shirt away from the brunette holding on to him. Heero had started to realize he wasn’t going to get the relaxing day he was planning as he took the money he got from his pocket.

She young woman chorted a laugh slightly, "Yeah you got that right.... do you know where I can find the guild, Luna Soul? I am here to meet with Guild Master..." She took her right black glove off, revealing the Eternal Memories symbol on the back of her hand. She smiled slightly, "My name is Moriko Vaden..."

Sanako blinked as she heard the us in his word. "You are in luna soul?" She said softly but almost only herself could hear that. She let go of his shirt looking at the silver haired woman. She also seemes to be looking for the guild and also had a name sanako had heard somewhere before. Sanako did a step backwards thinking she sould maybe quit trying to join a guild as this guy might not like her anymore after pulling his tail. "Hm..nothing" she said with a pout ready to turn around. She wasn't sure yet so kept staning on her place her eyes not paying atantion to the two. She seemed to be deep in thoughts.

“Yeah I’m in Luna Soul,” Heero answered. Problems only continued as the other woman was looking for Victor. Why anyone would want him was beyond Heero but he didn’t have time to offer as he scratched the back of his head conceding defeat it almost seen. “Alright, Alright I’ll take you two to the guildhall although Victor wasn’t there when I last checked,” Heero replied as he turned toward the direction of the guild and started walking simply assuming they’d follow.

Eventually after walking a few steps Heero reached alone building with the mark of Luna Soul on the front right hand side of the wall next to a doorway. It was a small quaint place. It actually used to be an old church before the first guild master had renovated it. Occasionally you could find an old cross or some unused holy water in the building but it was still nice as ever. At the top of the guild was a bell which was never removed from the building. It wasn’t the tiniest of places but without the giant guild mark on it the place would be impossible to notice. “Here we are,”Heero declared as he opened the regular door and walked in.

Inside the guild was what you’d expect: a mission board on one wall, tables and chairs through the middle and a kitchen area in another corner of guild. Although, it looked like an old rundown church on the outside, it looked nothing like a church inside and even looked like a guild on the inside. “So what do you need Victor for anyways?” Heero asked the silver haired girl addressing his guild master by name. “and what do you need?” He asked the other girl. Victor didn't seem to be around so he needed to keep them occupied for a little while until Victor stumbled in or did whatever.

She blinked, "I wanted to see him that is all... get acquainted with a fellow guild master..." she muttered, looking around the guild hall. She readjusted her gloves and looked around the hall. It was a good guild from the looks of it. She walked around. Turning back to him, "whats your name anyway kid?" she smiled slightly at him, showing kindness.

The guy suddenly wasn't that angry anymore and offered Sanako and the woman who seemed to be a guild master of another guild to take them to Luna soul. Without a word Sanako followed still wanting to join this guild. She wasn't sure why because she could join almost every guild but somehow she felt Luna soul would be a better place for her.

They arrived and it was perfect but was brought out her thoughts as she was asked why she wanted to come here. A little taken back she looked at the boy "I want to join Luna Soul!" she almost yelled and bowed her head a little. She knew she had not given the best first impression and was scared she would be send away.

That’s it? Weird girl, Heero thought. He wasn’t going to pry anymore. There was no point in wasting his energy trying to get a real reason out of her so he wasn’t going to. If she wanted to enter the wolves den for that small a reason that was her choice. Heero went behind the bar that was the kitchen area to get something for the two to drink. He didn’t know when or how Victor will be back so he had to at least give them something. Heero bent over and his head was out of site for a second as he looked for some glasses.

"What’s your name anyway kid?"

"Hm?” Heero didn’t bother looking up. “Name’s Heero,” he replied as he reached into one of the cupboards and pulled out to glasses and placed them on the bar. Heero had heard the other girls declaration about wanting to join the guild but paid it little mind as he went to another cabinet and pulled the stamp that bore Luna Soul’s insignia and placed it on the counter. “So what can I get you two?” Heero asked. “I got alcohol if you can handle it and juice or water if you can’t just take your pick. Just let me know what kind of juice you want. I can also make you something to eat real quick if you’re hungry."

She looked at him, smiling slightly, "Heero huh? Well nice to meet you... and I am fine for a drink... not one to drink while I am out in public..." she muttered, her thoughts turned to her 21st birthday party. She shuddered slightly. She sat down and rubbed her temple, feeling a headache coming on, she sighed. "So Heero, whats your Guild Master like anyway?"

Sanako frowned as she noticed she was sort of ignored at least thats what it looked like. She wanted to trow something at the boy named Heero to get his attention but instead sat down to wait for the guildmaster. She did see she was not ignored completely as he had put a stamp with the guild sign on the counter. She muttered the word "nothing" as Heero asked the two girls if they wanted to drink something. For a moment she took a look at the silver haired woman wondering why she wanted to see the guildmaster.

Victor blew out a puff of smoke as he walked down the street with a bottle of wine in his hand and a lit cigarette in his mouth. He was heading back to the guild after a rather dull day of drinking. He just wanted to walk into the guild and take a nap. A good number of people said hello to him as he walked down the street and he lifted his bottle up to recognize them with a quick ‘yo’ and just kept walking.

When he got to the front of the guild hall there were a few younger punks out having a bit of a brawl right outside the guild hall. Victor reached up while they weren’t paying attention with his free hand and grabbed one of the baseball bats one of them was using to fight. “Hey now,” Victor began as a smirk popped over his face. All the brawlers faces went pale in about a millisecond once they saw who it was getting in the way of their little argument. “You should be careful where you swing that thing, someone could get hurt.” The kid holding the bat didn’t even get a chance to respond as Victors punch slammed him on the side of the head and he sent him through the walls of his guildhall and leaving a rather large hole in the wall. The others ran off and were lucky that Victor was tired otherwise it wouldn’t have mattered.

Victor looked at his bottle though and sighed. It had broken on impact with the delinquent as he just now figured that he may have overdone it a little. Victor walked through the door of the guildhall like a regular person as if the enormous hole in the guild’s wall he made wasn’t there.

“You can see for yourself what kind of guy Victor’s like,” Heero replied to Moriko. Heero had no idea how to explain that guy. Sure he was probably the most reliable guy you’d ever meet but it was hard to believe at first glance. He was a pain in the ass for the most part but a good teacher none the less.

“Alright then,” Heero said as he grabbed the bottles and glasses to put them away. If nobody wanted anything then Heero wasn’t going to make anything. Heero was slightly disappointed nobody wanted anything but he wasn’t going to let that get to him none the less. Heero wasn’t going to get a chance to put anything away as he heard a large crash before getting slammed. Some guy had been launched through the wall and hit Heero cleanly as he went flying as well. The delinquent who came through the wall landing headfirst through and half way through the next wall and Ean landed in a stack of barrels which shattered when Heero hit them and was covered in potatoes, apples, and a few pears that were in the barrels.

All out of nowhere a guy was send flying towards the one named heero. knocking him off his feet as well. Sanako turned her head to see who had couched this seeing Moriko stand up calling out the guildmasters name at a guy that walked in. So that is the guildmaster. she thought and watched the silver haired woman and Victor for a bit not moving from her place. Having all forgotten about what had just happened to heero she snapped out of it looking at the fallen boy. She began laughing softly standing up walking to where Heero was to see if he was okay. She didn't feel like going to Victor telling him she wanted to join shit guild right now. Moriko seemed to have a lot to talk about with him so she thought it would be better to leave them alone for now. "Are you okay?" she asked holding out a hand at Heero still having a smile on her face as she found it kind of funny.

She looked at the crash and giggled slightly, all this reminded her of her guild back in Magnolia. She then turned and looked towards the guy who walked in, she gasped, realizing the description which her father had given her a long time ago matched him to a tee, apart from being a bit more aged.

She drew a deep breath and walked over, looking at him, "You must be Victor... My name is Moriko Elizabeth Vaden... my father is Adam Vaden... He told me a lot about you..." her eyes saddened slightly as she spoke of her father. "He spoke very highly of you... I wanted to meet you... to finally meet one of my father's closest friends and allies..." she looked at him. "It's an honour to finally meet you..." she bowed her head slightly, her eyes closed as she did so.

Victor looked over to his side to see a silver haired woman standing there. Victor didn’t know who she was but she seemed to know him. “Adam’s daughter huh?” Victor said as he walked by her to put the wine bottle down on a table before blowing a puff of smoke out. “It’s been about two years since he passed huh? I still need to visit his grave,” Victor commented a little nonchalantly but not so flat and uncaring. Aside from the murder of his wife and child Victor’s never let death get to him. He was a soldier next to Adam for years so death was something they were prepared to see and happen to them.

They were both able to survive though and have been through hell and back in plenty of adventures since and even during that time. They were always getting into stuff they shouldn’t and wound up dragging the other along for the ride. Although Victor got a large majority of the glory being the upstart soldier, the truth was when Victor and Adam dueled it out for training; Adam usually won with the record being Victor 132 wins and Adam 153 wins. Victor was always peeved about how Adam always had the winning record out of simple rivalry. They were known as the most skilled pair during that war and both became Sage Knights although Victor never uses his authority or power with it. He never did care about the position.

“So what do you want to know about your dad? I doubt you came for much else other than story time from old man Cross,” Victor joked as he sat down with a rather plain face and a nice little smirk behind his almost dead cigarette.

She looked at the floor, "I think he would like that... a lot... for you to visit hi-" she stopped, her eyes closed as she fought back the pain inside of her. She took a deep breath and exhaled, she looked up at him, "I would like to know if you would like to make an alliance between our guilds... Eternal Memories and Luna Soul... I do know that some people higher up wouldn't approve of it because of some of the people you have in your guilds... but I am prejudice about who, it would mean my guild has your back, and vice versa... meaning another incident like... m-my..." she sighed and lowered her head, "Like when my father's guild was attacked... won't have the same impact... Father didn't have an alliance with anyone... I always said I would be there when he needed it but..." she slammed her fist on the table, she shook with slight anger, "I wasn't able to save him.."
