    The Basics

There are two main classifications of Magic: Caster Magic and Holder Magic. Within these two there are many sub categories such as Lost Magic, or Magic Items. When you make your own Magic, whether you want to use one from the anime or make your own custom magic, be sure to state which kind your magic is. Below are brief explanations of each type are below.

Caster Magic is Magic that is created and expelled through the body. Magic's like this are like Dragon Slayer magic, Ice Make magic and Take Over Magic.
Holder Magic is Magic that uses an external medium to use the magic, the external item can be a sword, armor or keys. Magic like this are Reequip Magic, Gun Magic and Celestial Key Magic.

*Please make note that if you wish for a certain magic to be a Caster instead of a Holder, you must explain why in detail or you will be restricted to that type of magic*.

    Ranks

Magic Spells are not only broken down into categories but also ranks. The ranks go from Rank D at the lowest and Rank SS rank at the Highest. The strength and complexity of the spell all comes together to give each spell its rank. Needless to say that the higher the rank of the spell the stronger and more complex it can be. SS rank spells are far more powerful than any other kind of spell they are related in power to Fairy Law.

Now for the part you were waiting for, the amount of spells you can have at one time. For the Most part everyone will be starting at D rank which will only give you 5 spells for free, as you rank up you'll get more and more and have the chance to buy more spells. This is how the table will work out as well as the total amount of spells you can buy.

    Rank D - 4 D Spells and 2 C Spells total
    Rank C - 5 D Spells, 3 C Spells, and 2 B spell
    Rank B - 5 D Spells, 3 C Spells, 2 B Spells, and 2 A Spell
    Rank A - 6 D Spells, 4 C Spells, 3 B Spells, 2 A Spells and 2 S Spell
    Rank S - 6 D Spells, 5 C spells, 4 B Spells, 3 A Spells, and 2 S Spells, 1 SS Spell
    Rank SS - 7 D Spells, 6 C spells, 5 B Spells, 4 A Spells, 3 S Spells and 2 SS Spell

At Rank S is the total amount of free spells you can get now for the list of total amount you may buy. Remember this is list of what you can buy in total but you can't buy a spell that is not of your rank. Meaning if your not Rank A you cannot buy spells that are A Rank.

Amount of Spells You Can Buy

    8 D Rank Spells
    6 C Rank Spells
    5 B Rank Spells
    4 A Rank Spells
    3 S Rank Spells
    1 SS Rank Spells

    Spell Rules

There are certain rules that must be followed when making your Magics and we'll be going over them in this little section. The first things we're going to be going over is the list of banned magics. Along with the list will be the reason why.

    Banned Magics

    • Death Magic : Because this Magic can be used for instant kills and there isn't really a way to nerf it.
    • VooDoo Doll Magic : because like Command Magic, allows you to have complete control over another PC which is not allowed.
    • Command Magic : Because like Voodoo Doll Magic, allows you to have complete control over another PC which is not allowed.
    • Possession Magic : Because like Voodoo Doll Magic, allows you to have complete control over another PC which is not allowed. (Seeing a Pattern yet?)
    • Rapture : This magic basically is an instant Kill magic and that isn't allowed.
    • Figure Eyes : Turns anybody who makes eye contact with the user into dolls, allowing them to manipulate their souls.
    • Stone Eyes : Turns anybody who makes eye contact with the use into stone. Which makes the user able to do whatever they want with the stone body.

Magic that will be graded harshly

    • Crash Magic
    • Summoning Magic
    • Illusion Magic
    • World Altering Magic (Gravity, Space, Cosmic etc)
    • Custom Magic
    • Multi Elements

Magic Rules Empty Unison Raids WIP

Post by Xero Sun Jun 09, 2013 1:22 pm

    Unison Raids

Unison Raids are extremely powerful spells that allow two or three Mages to unite Magical powers to attack with a stronger magical attack. Unison Raids will treated like a spell. And since they are such powerful spells, they will come with extended requirements. There are 6 Ranks of Unison Raids.

    D-Rank

A D-Ranked Unison Raid is the equivalent of a maximum power C-Rank spell. This is preformed when two or three D-Ranked Mages join hands in some way and call out a spell. A D-Ranked Unison Raid will have the power to obliterate any D and C-Ranked defenses and attacks. B-Rank defenses with be damaged slightly, but anything higher then that will not be effected. The same goes for attacks, other then that the attack will be slightly less damaging if it is B-Ranked. If you are B-Rank, C, or D, and you are facing a D-Rank Unison Raid, be careful.

    C-Rank

A C-Ranked Unison Raid is the equivalent of a maximum power B-Rank spell. This is preformed when two or three C-Ranked Mages join hands in some way and call out a spell. A C-Ranked Unison Raid will have the power to obliterate any D, C, and B-Ranked defenses and attacks. A-Rank defenses with be damaged slightly, but anything higher then that will not be effected. The same goes for attacks, other then that the attack will be slightly less damaging if it is A-Ranked. If you are A-Rank, B, C, or D, and you are facing a C-Rank Unison Raid, be on guard and quick on your toes.

    B-Rank

A B-Ranked Unison Raid is the equivalent of a maximum power A-Rank spell. This is preformed when two or three B-Ranked Mages join hands in some way and call out a spell. A B-Ranked Unison Raid will have the power to obliterate any D, C, B, and A-Ranked defenses and attacks. S-Rank defenses with be damaged slightly, but anything higher then that will not be effected. The same goes for attacks, other then that the attack will be slightly less damaging if it is S-Ranked. If you are A-Rank, B, C, or D, and you are facing a B-Rank Unison Raid, it would be best advised to dodge anyway possible.

    A-Rank

A A-Ranked Unison Raid is the equivalent of a maximum power S-Rank spell. This is preformed when two or three A-Ranked Mages join hands in some way and call out a spell. A A-Ranked Unison Raid will have the power to obliterate any D, C, B, A, and S-Ranked defenses and attacks. SS-Rank defenses with be damaged slightly. The same goes for attacks, other then that the attack will be slightly less damaging if it is SS-Ranked. If you are S-Rank, A, B, C, or D, and you are facing a A-Rank Unison Raid, it would be best advised to duck and cover.

    S-Rank

A S-Ranked Unison Raid is the equivalent of a maximum power SS-Rank spell. This is preformed when two or three S-Ranked Mages join hands in some way and call out a spell. A S-Ranked Unison Raid will have the power to obliterate any D, C, B, A, and S-Ranked defenses and attacks. SS-Rank defenses with be damaged halfway. The same goes for attacks, other then that the attack will be halfway damaging if it is SS-Ranked. If you are S-Rank, A, B, C, or D, and you are facing a S-Rank Unison Raid, it would be wise to flee the area.

    SS-Rank

A SS-Ranked Unison Raid is the equivalent of TWO maximum power SS-Rank spells shot at once. This is preformed when two or three SS-Ranked Mages join hands in some way and call out a spell. A SS-Ranked Unison Raid will have the power to obliterate any Ranked defenses and attacks. The same goes for attacks. If you are SS-Rank, S, A, B, C, or D, and you are facing a SS-Rank Unison Raid, it would be wise to MOVE IT.
